I first time I saw this band was at an 89.7fm KFJC Live-Mic at 11pm on a Sunday night. They were conserving their engergies for the two bay area shows in the next two days. After being on tour for some time I can't say I blame them. When I saw them the next night I swore it was a different band altogether. No longer were they confined to a small 11 by 15 foot space surounded by vinyl. Now they were free to roam and mingle and disappear and reappear. I could hardly keep up. This band really delivers in the live realm. Another comment mentioned to me was "Victorian." I admitted at the time that I wasn't sure how to interpret that. It's been a long time since I was in an art history class. Monty Python takes on a whole new level of meaning after a couple of semesters of art history. To this day, the only history class where I actually LEARNED ABOUT HISTORY!! Anyways, back to the Business Lady. It was refreshing to meet people so enthusiastic about great music.
