The Blowtops are from Buffalo, NY. I saw them with Tractor Sex Fatality at the Stork club. Very entertaining. I'd hesitate to use the word 'spooky' because I find that word to imply 'cheesy'. I'd say it seemed like Darkwave/Rockabiliy/opera. I'm not sure if that makes any sense, so I'll just leave it to your imagination. If I can find a website for them you won't have to imagine it.
