You really brought out the chilling cold in this gallery. I like the strength of your composition in the first photo. Of course living in San Diego, CA I am spared this extreme weather. Take care!

This is a great gallery, thanks for bringing it to our attention in 'Forums'. I agree with Marisa, although I find the signature block distracting rather than disturbing.

As far as saturation goes, by all means experiment and go with how you feel personally. Personally, I don't think they need any adjustment.

Piotr, I tend to like these types of photographs, having grown up in a place with similar weather and ice freezing and filling up bays and coves.

I think the first image would look better with gamma reduced (maybe 0.68) and the saturation increased a little to bring out the warmer sunrise color.

I have to agree with one of the comments, the one by Marisa, about your signature. I think you could be a little less obtrusive and still maintain the purpose of adding it to the photo. Also, it's a shame that you feel you must only post relatively small images...I understand the reasoning but all the same it's a pity we cannot enjoy a more comprehensive view of your excellent images. I particularly like the lighthouse image.

As beginning of a gallery, it looks very promising.
This first pictures is very evocative, the perspective is interesting and the soft light adds a special atmosphere to the image.
I can understand your reasons, even though I don’t share them, but the fact you decided to add that line of text on the top of your picture is very disturbing and it’s a pity, since the picture is really a beautiful one.
