Trip to India 2006

Briefly as an introduction, I traveled from the UAE to convention in Coimbatore for two days, went on to one of the hill stations and then on to a wildlife region / national park area to say in a lodge, and then on to Bangalore to return along my tracks to Mysore and then back to Bangalore again and then from there by plane back to Sharjah, and home. I think I was able to travel by every mode or transport in India save for horse/ox cart!

Ooty is an old colognial town or 'hillstation.' This is Charings Cross.

A local indigenous tribal temple -- the Toda tribe who were strict vegetarian and worshiped the buffalo -- note the carving.
