The lake is small, shaped like a banana. I hiked to it from the Webber Lake
F.S.R. by walking southwest 1.4 KM through a Douglas Fir, Ponderosa Pine forest.
There were tracks of a porcupine, deer and a cow and calf moose on the road, and
in the forest, much moose sign and rocks and logs moved about by a feeding bear.
The lake is, or at least used to be, fished for trout. There was evidence of use
by beaver and moose. An old road approaches from the south, from Jackpine Lake.
