Crash Bars / Center Stand

My stuff from amotostuff.com (great store located in Carson City, NV) came in today and I got everything installed except the chain. I'm planning on upping the front sprocket from 14 teeth to 16 to give me some added comfort at higher speeds so I'm waiting on the new sprocket. Plus, I'll hold off on that install until a few weeks before the big trip. The crash bars and center stand are Hepco & Becker from Deutschland. The chain is a DID 525 VM2 x-ring chain and I also bought the rivet tool from MikesXS for a cheapo 16 bucks.

Review:
Center stand: is very very solid. I was surprised just how solid the bike felt once I learned how to get it up easily without fighting the bike. The trick: just stand up on the damn thing with your outside foot and the bike will roll right on up. The install was very easy and finished in about 15 minutes. The toughest part was pulling the spring over the pins but that was accomplished using some extra wire.

Crash bars: even more solid. They're a bit expensive but they'll be worth it in the event the bike goes down. Funny thing is, the rash on the left side is PRE crash bars, if I'd only had them sooner . . . Install was fine, the hardest part was getting the frame bolts out because they were Loctited in there. But all bolts were put back with Blue Loctite so they won't be coming back out.

Next up: side cases.
