Port Costa is a small, almost forgotten town near Martinez in Northern California.
It had its glory days long time ago - it used to be a fairly large grain port with huge wooden docks, several bars, grain storage (where today Warehouse Cafe is located) and a hotel/whorehouse.
Hotel is still operating today and, yes, you can taste its "old days" the moment you walk inside.
It hasn't been renovated for decades and is absolutely charming. The guest rooms are named after girls that used to work there - nice touch.
We were very fortunate to have a chance to shoot at the hotel and cafe. Thank you Barbie and Ivana!

Why did I do it?
I wanted to bring old spirits back to Port Costa, even just for a day, before this place disappears into modern world.
