First of all - Voted! Blown away by this gallery and the concept. I have heard of the reenacting but never witnessed photographic representation. If you imagine for a split second, these are real images from the actual past - the actors look like they put so much effort into this and you have captured this wonderfully. Just a question if you can get around to answering, without the exif data, I guess you are shooting long focal lengths, but did you have access to the actual battlefield to take these shots, or can a spectator like myself attend and watch (and take shots) from the sidelines?

Well done. Now off to look at the rest of your work :-)

Great photos! My brother is in the foreground of Fierce Resistance, so that oen is kinda my fave, though Holding Ground is qite good as well. Hope to be back next year.

Dear Sir,
Your photos are some of the best I have seen in Civil War reenacting. Ever image is a little piece of the real past, that could not be taken beacuse of the lack of photography equipment. With these images you bring it all back to life for the next generation to see. Three of me favorites are ( Death of Standart- Bearer, Holding Groung, and Oh, no! )
