Mt. Pinatubo II: Trek For A Cause

While trekking to Mount Pinatubo last March we were astounded by the magnificent scenery of the caldera.
The blueish lake waters corralled by the sheer cliffs aligned with the weeds along its banks are complete mask of its devastating past.
It’s an absolute beauty after destructions.

This mountain was home to thousands of indigenous people. One of the largest tribes was the Aetas.
Lot of them are now living in the huts made of tiny branches, covered with banana leaves. We feel very sorry to see them in their unfortunate situations.

We went back to the volcano, this time with a noble task to do - passion within our hearts, bounties in our hands.
We call this OPLAN: Bihis Aeta (Operation: Dressing up the Aeta People).

Thanks for financial supports, goods donations, and the manpower who helped in this outreach and made this a successful one.
