The Phra Mondop is located on the raised terrace within the Wat Phra Kaew temple complex (the Temple of the Emerald Buddha) in the Grand Palace in Bangkok.
The Phra Mondop was built under King Rama I and serves as a library to house the Tripitaka (the sacred Buddhist scriptures).
In Thailand, all teachers at public schools are required to wear a khaki uniform with military elements, such as epaulets on the shoulders displaying their rank or official scale.
