The Vereeniging III was built in 1902 as a steam cargo ship (made of riveted steel) for the transport of passengers and cargo. At the time, it was propelled by a 90 hp coal-fired steam engine. The boat is 23 meters long. After the heyday of cargo shipping, this type of vessel became obsolete.
Today, the ship serves as a houseboat and is used for historical tours and events. The old steam engine has since been replaced by a modern diesel engine.
Molen De Vlijt is an octagonal wooden tower mill (base 1859, superstructure 2002).
