Huis de Beurs is a classic, nostalgic Groningen café-restaurant, said to have been located on the corner of Folkingestraat and A-Kerkhof around 1795. Huis de Beurs takes its name from the Korenbeurs (Corn Exchange) across the street, where grains, seeds, and legumes from the Ommelanden region were traded until well into the 20th century.
