The photo shows a quote on the side of the tram viaduct leading into The Hague Centraal Station. The National Library is around the corner, hence the quote.
Erasmus, also know as Desiderius Erasmus, Dutch Renaissance humanist, Catholic priest, and theologian (October 28th, 1469 - July 22nd, 1536).

What surprises me while the quote is in the Dutch language which I would expect. the building is is English. Why?
