"Grande Mano" (Big Hand)

Bodensee (Lake Constance), Wasserburg, Bayern view map

This artwork is called "Grande Mano" (Great Hand) and was created by the renowned German sculptor Prof. Gunther Stilling.
The hand symbolizes the vulnerability and, at the same time, the monumental power of human history, labor, and culture.
The sculpture was installed in Wasserburg in May 2014 as part of the large-scale open-air exhibition SKULPTURA. In the course of 2018, the sculpture was dismantled and returned to the artist.
