Lakes in Connemara bog landscape

L1208, from Oughterard to the southwest, Bunnagippaun, Galway view map

Photo taken from road L1208 facing west. In the foreground is Shannaghree Lough, and Lough Tawny is just visible in the background. Both small lakes are situated in a marshy landscape. The mountains on the horizon are the Twelve Bens and the Maumturks, characteristic mountain ranges of Connemara that are clearly visible at this distance of about 20-30 km due to the clear weather.
