Lickeen Lough is a freshwater lake that is part of the landscape of The Burren. The lake serves as the primary source of drinking water for the town of Ennistymon and the surrounding region, supplying water to approximately 14,000 people. Additionally, it is a well-known spot for sport fishermen.
