Doonagore Castle is an iconic 16th-century residential tower near the village of Doolin in County Clare, Ireland. The castle is known for its round shape and spectacular location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, but is not accessible to the public as it is a private residence.
After the castle had fallen into disrepair in the 19th century, it was fully restored in the 1970s.
