N70, Ring of Kerry, Liss Upper, Co. Kerry view map

The fort is built entirely of local stone without the use of mortar. The walls are up to 4 meters thick at the base and taper towards the top to approximately 2 meters.
The circular structure has a diameter of approximately 27 meters. In some places, the walls reach a height of 5.5 to 6 meters.
On the inside, there are ten sets of stairs in a distinctive X-shape, leading to various platforms on the walls.
