The River Ilen (Irish: An Aighlinn) is a picturesque river in West Cork, Ireland, known for its clean water and excellent fishing. The river rises on Mount Mullaghmesha and flows south for approximately 34 to 37 kilometers (21 to 23 miles) through the town of Skibbereen before emptying into the Celtic Sea near the village of Baltimore.
