In 2008, the name was simply Titanic Bar (also known as the Titanic Bar and Restaurant). Although the current name, Titanic Bar and Grill, has only been used since its reopening in 2012, the restaurant has been associated with the Titanic name since 2000. The restaurant was opened by Millvina Dean, the youngest survivor of the Titanic. In 2012, exactly 100 years after the sinking of the Titanic, the restaurant reopened under new ownership. From that point on, the name was officially changed to Titanic Bar and Grill.
