The "Deck of Cards" houses are an iconic row of 23 colorful Victorian houses in Cobh, officially located on West View Street. They are one of Ireland's most photographed spots thanks to their unique stepped construction on a steep hill.
The nickname comes from a local joke: the houses appear so close together and steeply stacked that it's said that if the lowest house were to fall, the rest would collapse like a house of cards.
The houses were built in the 1850s. Although they are a tourist attraction, they remain private residences.
