Rarely am I drawn enough into a landscape to shoot it with different lenses. This one begged for it. I was intrigued with the grid of the tobacco beds and red soil paths as a foil for the soft mist rising at the base of the mountain--and the way the storm had changed a hot strongly lit day into a misty, moody landscape.
