U.S. Border Patrol trail alongside the American/Mexican border which extends for many miles ... a row of tires, 4 or 5 abreast is dragged along the trail once or twice daily to smooth and level the surface sand ... the Border Patrol then drive the trail looking for footprints ... telltale signs which indicate where, when and how many "aliens" are crossing illegally into the U.S.A.
