Grumman G-21 Goose

This FlightGear model of the Grumman G-21 Goose was developed by Gary Neely.

The RCMP acquired a Goose from the RCAF in 1946, which they operated out of the harbor in Prince Rupert. BC. My grandfather was an officer with the RCMP and flew in it on the BC Coast during the 1950s. This aircraft was still in active service with the RCMP until the early 1990s when it was retired to the Canadian Air and Space Museum in Ottawa. It served the Canadian public longer than any other aircraft, including military.

I developed the RCMP livery for Gary's model, as seen in the screenshots below. I still have plans to further enhance this aircraft:
