Welcome to my hometown bird and other photos gallery. Some of the birds pictured in this gallery are long distant migratory species that move great distances, usually between continents. The remaining birds can be found locally. The intent of the gallery is to give the viewer a sense of what types of birds they may find throughout the year in our local community.

In an effort to include as many birds that I have observed and photographed in the community, some photos aren't as clear as others. These photos are what I call, documentation shots. The intent is not to have only high grade photos posted here but simply birds that occur naturally in our environment.

Have a look at some of the birds in the gallery and let me know if you have seen them in the Sugar Land and Missouri City area. Make a note of when and where they were observed so that I can try to document them in my gallery. Thanks and enjoy.
