CR 3139-Ash Creek, Hill County

A Small Pratt Pony Truss spanning Ash Creek, southeast of the City of Hillsboro, in Hill County, Texas. According to the state site it was built in 1900 and is 90 feet long and 16 feet wide. It is similar in age and style to several other bridges in the county, but there is differences and can not tell if the same builder built them. The bridge isn’t in good shape the planking is rotten and missing in places, it has been closed to vehicle traffic for a long time now.
