Tatoosh wilderness

During WWII a gal spent a summer here as a lookout, and wrote a delightful book, Tatoosh. This area is now a wilderness just south of Mt Rainier. Most of the Tatoosh range is very senic but from here it sits in front of an incredible view of Mt Rainier so you hardly notice it in the photos.

A good view of Mt Adams to the south, and St Helens to the SouthWest can be seen as well. Mt Hood between these two looks very small from here, and the pictures too faint to bother posting.
