First view I felt like taking a picture. Years ago I remember this as being more magical. But then I got there before sunrise. Shadows would have been a problem then (and now). This day it seemed to bright until I got lower down for some reason.

You can see the trail switchback down the final part of the ridge in the distance.

Kaibab is Paiute (Indian) for "The Mountain Lying Down" (or upside down mountain?)
