Still on the Grand Canyon of the Toulumne, somewhere between LeConte and Glen Aulin. I liked the colors here. I also have shots to the left & right I could stitch together, but thought the resulting image might be too small.

It wasn't until this part of THIS hike that I felt perhaps those who claimed the Sierra's could be buggy in July had a (small) point. Later I would find an even buggy part which I camped in I nicknamed bugville, on the Ten Lakes trail just off the May Lake trail - still not as bad as Ontario Canada (eh) canoe camping.
