More like 100 Island Lake but a descriptive name. One of the highlights of the trip.
The author want you to hike up the trailess right side, between the 2 peaks and do a loop around the back side. I was thinking of going up the right side to Lake Cathrine until I saw all the snow. The other option was to stay on the trail but go further south to see additional Lakes in the Minarets - slow travel and broken trekking poles made me cut out that option.
I spent the previous night on the shore below (100 feet away as required).
I will spend an easier day getting near Donohue Pass which I will cross with two broken trekking poles the next day.
