Top of the trail.

I took pictures of the signs more to keep track of my times (though I think the clock is at least an hour off).

This picture though reminded me how hot it seemed in the sun hiking up. I think that is one reason they don't recommend hiking more than 10 miles, since that means you will have to hike mid-day in the heat.

It seemed allot cooler after a rest in the shade and some coke a colas without a heavy pack! It was sunny at the bottom on the way down and sunny at the top on the way up, ie it was sunny after 12 o'clock! Though the bottom on the Tonto platform is sunny just about all the time.

I think this is the latest in the year I have hiked the Grand Canyon. Not too bad, but I will come earlier if I do it again. I trained to hike up this, not sure I will hike DOWN this trail again.
