The gully I had been traveling above on the right ended at this gully in front of me. I suppose both were cut by glaciers , or at least were fed by glaciers. Not even a trickle of water today.

If you were coming from the East it looks like it might be possible to ski around the two vertical walls and continue on to Yocum ridge. I doubt I would ever try this though, not being able to see very well from above.
