Old Facade of New Haven City Hall next to Modern Skyscraper

The original New Haven City Hall was torn down over 10 years ago but they kept the facade.
The front section from the clock tower right to the two turrets was left standing, held up by supports.
A few years later they built the new town hall behind and to the left.
You can see the striped brick does not quite match.
A few years after that it was dwarfed by the commercial building.

I like how you can see how they blended the old with the new. This photo is sort of like 3 generations. Old and new city hall and the youngster skyscraper! Gingerbread, differences in window trim, differences in gable trim, window style...Great study.
