Lynn was a new model that wanted to build a portfolio, so she brought several outfit changes and we did this over a few weeks. Her husband would bring her on occasion and help give a few suggestions. We had a good time building her portfolio and it was the most compressive I had or will ever do. She did get a few modeling jobs so hopefully it panned out. Ron even came to me when he needed a photo for his resume. Several months later Lynn and I bumped into one another when she was doing modeling for my brother, so we got together again at my brothers studio for a few more shots. Most of these were taken in 1980 and were on Ektachrome (color) Slide Film.
Recently I found an old calendar I was going to toss and found that I had talked with Lynn and her husband Ron about doing her portfolio on 1980 March 01. I then find subsequent scheduling's for March 06, 20, 27, 29 and April 24. A year or 2 later she was doing a shoot with my brother, also a photographer, so we met up in his studio to do a few more shots, this is where the image marked "Cowgirl Look" came from, and other I hope to post in the future. I also did a B&W "head shot" shoot of Ron, Lynn's husband, for his resume.
nice shots . . great to see shots that are not edited to death / skin smoothed in to candle wax / over sharpened etc etc, also to see a model without the cliche tattoos seen everywhere these days
