This is the very last image of the transit that I was able to capture the disk of Venus in front of the Sun. The sun was setting and there were thick clouds at the horizon. You should be able to pick up the top half of the Sun here, with a faint grayish disk of Venus. It almost blends in with the clouds. This was shot west of Des Moines near a wind generator farm southwest of Guthrie.
