Discovered 2020 March 27 by the NEOWISE Space Telescope, reached perihelion (closest to the Sun) on 2020 July 03, and closest to the Earth on 2020 July 23. Morning twilight is now starting to wash the comet out, but as the comet moves more into the evening sky it should start to show better there. The comets dust and ion tails were noticeable, the ion tail mostly in photos and as the comet approached Earth the dust tail grew very wide. I was able to watch the comet for a month, 3 weeks were quite outstanding.
