All the images in this selection were taken with a point-and-shoot camera set to do time exposures. As you can see the aurora was very bright and it was difficult trying to shoot everything. This camera would take a 15 second exposure, and then process the image for an additional 15 seconds before I could take another image. The exposures can be varied here from about 10 to 30 seconds. This event covered the entire sky!
