I was recently remodeling my home on Franklin Street which was built in 1915. When putting a deport beam in I noticed a name written on the back side of the second floor subfloor boards, the name was George P Willard. Along with the name written was" Add. School house/town hall ". I'm assuming Add. Meant addition. After a google search of Willard and the school house, I realized that the chard boards that make up the sheathing and the boards on the subfloor were most likely salvaged from the schoolhouse after the fire. The timeline is off a bit but the you can tell that there were nails removed along with the smoke damage.
