There are a lot of reasons not to like this image... busy branches, bright overcast BG....but it is the only time in my life that I have seen and photographed this, the King of the Falcons. A very rare visitor from the Arctic and if not for the Crows harrassing him, I might not have had this opportunity. The location was strange as well and he must have simply zeroed in on the river ( for ducks) as this was at Billings Bridge at Vincent Massey Park and so close to the downtown traffic and businesses of Ottawa.
