Took this one in the Fall of 2005 and just reworked it hence the 2007 in my copyright. This 50% crop is probably my closest encounter with this bird except for one episode laste last Fall when one came too close for the 400F5.6 and I could do nothing but watch it within arms reach. A great little bird and at 10 cm only 1 cm longer than a Ruby Throated Hummingbird.
