This is one of the last times I saw these birds. I do still see the adults from time to time as they fly on to a nearby tree. The nest is abandoned and in this last shot the young male is being fed some type of insects that appear to be coated in the sticky sap from one of their sap traps. Notice how the adult has closed its eyes...I think to protect itself from this very aggresive chick/juvenile.
