Been several days now since I last saw one of these birds...three days in a row of just one male or one female whereas prior to that as many as 17 were showing up for a week+

Great shot Gary. Lucky you, mine showed up for only some 20 minutes, then decided they didn’t like the menus offered or the plates (tube-feeders). They haven’t been back. Must build a platform feeder as you suggested.
