Maybe disclaimer would be a better title as this image is a combination of two shots taken approx 30 seconds apart. The young female ( 1st Winter) took off when the adult male was making his approach. When the male landed several inches left of where she had been , I knew immediately that this would be a good candidate for a composite. A mono pod was used so layering the two images was quite easy,,,just used the branch for guidance on the placement and voila. Note : that its possible that this male is her father but with at least two other males (and several females in the yard) its just that...a possibility.
