Wishing the bunting was a little crisper...actual shot cropped from horizontal to vertical. This snowy owl periodically flushes the snow buntings from this, their favorite resting tree. The snowy appears to try and find a loner and has come close to catching a few. I have not seen an actual grab but three others I know have witnessed her make a successful catch...
