I had seen these moths in the woods this week and wondered at their hardiness. Its been pretty cold with freezing nights...This one was seen today during the warmest part of the day at just 5 degrees above 0 with a wind chill of -1. All standing water has been frozen for several days now yet this little moth went for quite a flight before resting on this small bush which lost its leaves weeks ago. I have yet to find out its identification......
