I knew that something was wrong when I hadn’t
heard my typical morning greeting “HI YA KID”.
Afraid to do so earlier I finally asked ‘did Joe Rodio die?’
A member of a local old guy coffee klatch, he fell easily
into his role as the unofficial mayor of the town. He was a lovely man who
lived a gracious life. Joe was always a delight to be with. And for a really
old guy he had a great and infectious sense of humor.
I miss him.
