Thanks, Judy. Nothing special. It's just the effect of the flash hitting the falling snow. I used my 580ex flash unit...and the 70-200L lens. I also had the security light on and that added enough light to get the focus on the tree. I remember having to lean on the side of the garage so as not to get my camera wet and to steady my cold hands. :)
