An active volcano, Mount Rainier is the most glaciated peak in the contiguous U.S.A., spawning five major rivers.
Sub-alpine wildflower meadows ring the icy volcano mountain, while ancient forest cloaks Mount Rainier’s lower slopes.

What a beautiful gallery! Looks like you had perfect weather and timed your trip well to catch the colors. So many times Mount Rainier is lost in the fog making it hard to believe that such a majestic mountain could be hidden from view. Once again, I loved traveling through your eyes! V
