Mono Lake Tufa State Natural Reserve.
The Tufas are natural limestone formations that resemble towers.
Mono Lake is east of the High Sierras, along Hwy 390.
Its water is very salty (about 10%) due to high evaporation and lack of sufficient feeding fresh water.
