During World War II, in Germany's occupied Amsterdam, Anne Frank family and friends hide in a one floor of a house.
They were eventually discovered by a thief while attempting to steal any valuable item from the house.
He later reported them to the Gestapo for a prize. All Anne's Frank family were sent to a concentration camp.
Only Anne's father survived.
